CMA CGM Shipping Agent Ethiopia Share Co. is seeking qualified and competent applicants for the following positions:

1. Accountant

Location: Addis Ababa
Duration: Long-term contract
Salary: Depending on experience and as per the company scale

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for various accounting department activities and is expected to contribute to the enhancement of department performance. Responsibilities include managing the General Ledger, processing invoices, communicating with suppliers/customers and banks, preparing tax declarations, assisting as a relief cashier, performing administrative tasks, and fulfilling other duties assigned by management.

Skill and Educational Background:

BA degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance.
2-5 years of work experience.
Proficiency in accounting, finance, and administration skills, preferably with a background or knowledge in the shipping/logistics sector.
Professional qualifications in accounting and experience in using accounting software like Sage Premium and SharePoint.

2. Documentation Officer

Location: Addis Ababa
Duration: Long-term contract
Salary: Depending on experience and as per the company scale

Job Summary:

The Documentation Officer will assist in all customer care department activities and contribute to enhancing department performance. Responsibilities include monitoring vessel schedules, handling e-documentation processes, ensuring compliance checks, releasing originals or waybills, completing export call closures, adding charges for extra services, supporting other CMA CGM agencies, ensuring proper monitoring of work performed, and fulfilling all tasks related to service delivery.

Skill and Educational Background:

BA degree in Management, Marketing Management, or related fields.
2-5 years of work experience.
Proficiency in customer handling and satisfaction.
Professional qualifications in customer service are desirable.
