1. Education Officer

• Location: Shire, Ethiopia

Job Summary:

The Education Officer will oversee the implementation of the Enhancing Holistic Early Childhood Development project. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring program quality, managing budgets, and representing the organization at relevant meetings. This position will be based in Shire with frequent travel to project sites.

Skills and Educational Background:

• MA/BA in Project Management, Educational Planning and Management, Educational Leadership, Development Management, ECCD, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in international NGOs, preferably in ECCD-related content dissemination.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Knowledge of local languages is an asset.

2. Senior Research MEAL Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior RMEAL Manager will ensure the PlayMatters project meets its learning, research, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) commitments. Responsibilities include strengthening RMEAL capacity, maintaining partnerships, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

Skills and Educational Background:

• 4 years of progressive work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3 years with a master’s degree in relevant fields.
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation, statistics, computer science, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.

3. Senior RMEAL Officer

Job Summary:

The Child Protection Assistant will implement a community-based child protection program in Bambasi IDP site, providing support and services to children and families.

• University Degree in Social Science, Social Work, Psychology, or Sociology for diploma holders, or relevant work experience for first-degree holders.
• Experience in NGO settings is preferred.
• Fluent in English, Amharic, and local languages.
• Experience in capacity building and mentoring.
