Position: Finance Lead

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Salary: ETB 234,000 – 240,000 per Month/pa salary

About the Role:

As the Finance Lead at LifeBank, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance activities for the country entity. You will be responsible for preparing management accounts, overseeing treasury and banking activities, and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements. Additionally, you will provide business partnering skills to the Country Leadership team and support the Group Finance function

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly Management Accounts for the country entity.
• Report on treasury and banking activities.
• Act as the Internal Control Custodian for the business.
• Provide business partnering skills to scale the business in Ethiopia.
• Manage statutory compliance activities, including tax filings, returns, and audits.
• Provide data and interpersonal skills for peers and colleagues in the Group Finance function.
• Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with legislative tax and financial reporting requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Manage banking relationships, cash management, and other treasury activities.

Ideal Profile:

• 2 – 4 years of experience in a Finance Manager role, preferably in the Health tech/Supply Chain/Logistics industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Excellent analytical skills and comfort with numerical data.
• Strong team player with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
