Job Description:

Main Job Purpose:

The role holder will support Operations in the CD Finance team, ensuring effective management and support of all stakeholders within set turnaround times.

Key Interactions:

• Internal: Interfaces with other departments on payment of invoices.
• External: Engages with key distributors, liaises with banks on enquiries/issues relating to payment.

Key Accountabilities:

• Daily VAT receipt collection and maintenance of proper documentation.
• Monthly submission and reconciliation to the tax team.
• Weekly updates to CDF on progress and point of contact for Key Distributors (KDs).
• Claims logging to CDF and weekly reminders/follow-up on VAT receipts.
• Ensuring proper support and documentation, assisting with audits, and supporting on controls documentation filing.

Employment Type: 6-month Contract

Skills and Educational Background:

• University Graduate in Finance or a business-related field.
• Professional qualifications CPA/ACCA.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Finance role, FMCG experience is an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP) and strong attention to detail.
• Strong forecasting skills using viable data and ability to determine and apply correct accounting treatments.
• Able to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and business risks.
