Awash Bank, Ethiopia’s leading private bank established on November 10, 1994, invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. Position: Manager – Partnership Management Division

Qualification & Experience:

BA Degree in Marketing Management, Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Training in Marketing Management (added advantage).
Master’s degree in a related course (added advantage).

Job Summary:

The jobholder is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing commercial and strategic relationships with different organizations in line with the Bank’s objectives. This includes building and maintaining partner relationships, promoting trust, and ensuring high-quality service.

2. Position: Branch Manager – Class I Branch

Qualification & Experience:

BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration.
Minimum of 11 years’ experience in the banking sector, with 3 years in a supervisory role.

Job Summary:

Responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the banking activities of a branch office, ensuring adherence to bank procedures, and guiding branch operational excellence.

3. Position: Branch Manager – Class II Branch

Qualification & Experience:

BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Management & Business Administration.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the banking sector, with 3 years in a supervisory position.

Job Summary:

Similar to Class I, with specific focus on ensuring operational excellence and preparing annual budgets and progress reports

4. Position: Branch Manager – Class III Branch

Qualification & Experience:

BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics or related discipline.
Minimum of 9 years of relevant banking experience, with 3 years in a supervisory position.

Job Summary:

Responsible for leading branch sales and customer service initiatives and ensuring adherence to bank procedures.

5. Position: Branch Manager – Class IV Branch

Qualification & Experience:

BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant banking experience, with 3 years in a supervisory position.

Job Summary:

Similar to other Branch Manager roles, with specific focus on operational and service excellence.

6. Position: Office Machine Technician

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma in Electronics or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years in handling office machines.

Job Summary:

Maintains all types of Bank’s office equipment and tests, configures, and integrates new equipment.

7. Position: Generator Technician

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma in Auto Mechanic, Electricity or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years in generator maintenance and installation.

Job Summary:

Maintains and operates generators, ensuring maximum availability and optimal condition in branches and head office.

Term of Employment: Permanent
