Job Vacancy: Junior Accountant at Tbab Trading PLC

Tbab Trading PLC is looking for a qualified and motivated individual to join the company as a Junior Accountant. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day financial operations and providing financial support to senior executives.

Position: Junior Accountant

Duty Station: Wello Sefer, Addis Ababa

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily financial operations including payroll, invoicing, and transactions.
• Oversee financial department employees such as financial assistants and accountants.
• Coordinate with outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, and other financial needs.
• Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify improvement areas.
• Seek methods to minimize financial risk to the company.
• Research and analyze financial reports and market trends.
• Provide insights and expectations to senior executives for decision-making.
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients.
• Stay updated with technological advances and accounting software.
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field.
