Main Job Purpose:

The role holder will support Operations in the CD Finance team, ensuring effective management and support of all stakeholders within set turnaround times.

Key Interactions:

Internal: Interfaces with other departments on payment of invoices.
External: Engages with key distributors, liaises with banks on enquiries/issues relating to payment.

Key Accountabilities:

Daily VAT receipt collection and maintenance of proper documentation.
Monthly submission and reconciliation to the tax team.
Weekly updates to CDF on progress and point of contact for Key Distributors (KDs).
Claims logging to CDF and weekly reminders/follow-up on VAT receipts.
Ensuring proper support and documentation, assisting with audits, and supporting on controls documentation filing.

Employment Type: 6-month Contract

Skills and Educational Background:

University Graduate in Finance or a business-related field.
Professional qualifications CPA/ACCA.
Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Finance role, FMCG experience is an advantage.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP) and strong attention to detail.
Strong forecasting skills using viable data and ability to determine and apply correct accounting treatments.
Able to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and business risks.
