Job Responsibilities
Manage All Aspects of Physical and Personnel Security for Company Facilities and Regional Staff:
- Access Control
- Perimeter Security
- Surveillance Systems
- Physical Guarding
- Back-up Response
- Security Escorts
- Event Security
- Network Infrastructure Security
- Conduct Emergency Evacuation Drills
- Issue Security Updates and Advisories to Staff
- Provide a Single Point of Contact for Security, Safety, and Emergency Management
- Undertake Security Management Operations:
- Security Sweeps
- Penetration Tests
- Intruder Detection and Alarm Response Infrastructure Serviceability and Tests
- Ensure Regional Security and Fire Safety Infrastructure is Serviced and Maintained
- Journey Management
- Security Surveys
- Internal Security Audits
- Proactively Address Operational Gaps in Security and Staff Safety
- Operate the Regional Security Control Rooms
- Intelligence Collection:
- Continuous Intelligence Collection and Dissemination
- Business Impact Analysis from Gathered Intelligence
- Liaison & Investigations:
- Investigate and Resolve Security Issues Affecting Company Assets
- Assist Staff Through Liaison with Law Enforcement Agencies
- Sensitize Staff on Security Trends and Awareness
- Conduct Security Briefings and Updates
- Liaise with Health & Safety Manager on Related Investigations
- Provide Linkage with Government and County Authorities
- Policies, Processes & Procedures:
- Document and Enforce SLAs with Service Providers
- Ensure Compliance with Company Security Policies and Procedures
- Project, Budget & Financial Management:
- Develop Inputs into Budgets and Forecasts for Security Services
- Manage Assigned Security Budget and Projects
- People Management:
- Indirect Management of Security Personnel Provided by Contractors
Requirements:
- Degree in Security Management/Administration or any Technical/Business Discipline
- 3 – 5 Years of Experience in a Regional Security Officer Role
- 2 Years of Experience in Corporate Security Management in a Large Corporate Firm
- General Knowledge of Country Laws and Government Regulations on Law Enforcement
- Experience in Investigations is an Added Advantage
- Desired: Professional Qualification in Security Management
