1. Programme Manager

Skills and Educational Background:

  • Interest in finance and knowledge of financial and project management approaches.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and respond to emerging needs.
  • Familiarity with FCDO financial and programme management systems (desirable).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage components of the Africa Humanitarian Response Fund and Africa Regional Climate and Nature programme.
  • Contribute to improving community resilience to conflict, shocks, and climate issues.
  • Ensure robust management of humanitarian crises responses.

Salary: USD 635.75 per month

2. Deputy Post Security Manager

Skills and Educational Background:

  • Diploma in any field; minimum 3 years of relevant supervisory experience in security.
  • Management experience with a large team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage security services effectively and improve service delivery.
  • Strong decision-making skills with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day security and safety of the British Embassy and staff.
  • Liaise with Ethiopian authorities, diplomatic missions, NGOs, and other relevant contacts.
  • Support wider Embassy objectives and ensure efficient service delivery.

Salary: USD 505.42 – USD 805.08 per month

3. Migration Delivery Assistant

Skills and Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or minimum 7 years of work experience in migration field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in migration with strong understanding of Ethiopian context.
  • Fluent in English and Amharic (oral and written).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in migration-related activities with a focus on political, social, and economic contexts.
  • Uphold integrity, reliability, and discretion in all tasks.
  • Contribute to effective decision-making and support the Embassy’s migration objectives.

Salary: USD 635.75 per month
