Habesha Cement Share Company, a registered cement producer in Ethiopia, invites qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant positions. The company, which has been operational since its inauguration in mid-January 2017, has a plant capable of producing 3,000 tons of clinker and 1.2 million tons of cement per year at full operation.

1. Procurement Officer

Purpose of the Job:

To ensure cost-effective and uninterrupted business operations by following and applying proper purchasing procedures to purchase and deliver cost-efficient and quality items of general category.

Skills and Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience.

2. Foreign Sourcing Coordinator

Purpose of the Job:

To ensure the efficient and effective procurement of foreign goods and services for HCSC by promoting and maintaining a high level of communication with suppliers, concerned stakeholders, and HCSC requesting departments.

Skills and Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a procurement position, preferably in the manufacturing industry with a sound knowledge of foreign procurement.

3. Manager, Sales and Marketing

Purpose of the Job:

To enhance the profitability and effectiveness of Habesha Cement by driving the development and implementation of a well-rounded and integrated customer experience strategy.

Skills and Educational Background:

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or related fields with eight (8) years of demonstrated experience, out of which four (4) years in a managerial position.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields with ten (10) years of demonstrated experience, of which five (5) years in a managerial position.
