About Berhan Insurance S.C.:

Berhan Insurance S.C. is a private insurance company operating in the Ethiopian insurance market. It was established on October 30, 2010, with a paid-up capital of Birr 9.7 Million under proclamation No. 86/1994. The company was initiated by Berhan Bank S.C and through the investment of 455 visionary founders.

Positions Available:

1. Junior Underwriting Officer

• Educational Qualification: BA/BSC Degree in Statistics, Mathematics & Engineering.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching.
• Place of Work: Addis Ababa.

2. Senior Anti-Corruption Officer

• Educational Qualification: BA/MA Degree in Accounting, Management, Business & Economics, or related fields.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years as an anti-corruption officer.
• Place of Work: Addis Ababa.

3. Manager, HR Division

• Educational Qualification: BA/MA/MBA Degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields from a recognized University or College.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, out of which at least 3 years at a senior position.
• Place of Work: Addis Ababa.

4. Manager, Life Insurance Department

• Educational Qualification: Minimum of a first degree from a recognized higher learning institution and preferably a diploma in insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or Life Office Management Association (LOMA).
• Work Experience: Minimum of 11 years of insurance experience, out of which 3 years at the managerial level.
• Place of Work: Addis Ababa.

5. Manager, Legal Department

• Educational Qualification: LLB/LLM in Business Law/Corporate Law.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, of which 4 years at the managerial level.
• Place of Work: Addis Ababa.
