Position: Manager, Product Development

Purpose of the Job:
To develop and implement new product development initiatives and follow up on the life cycle of existing products by constantly assessing and analyzing the changing needs of customers, the dynamic business environment, and the competitive landscape.

Generic Functions:

• Develop, review, and implement policies & procedures, and plan/budget of the division.
• Embody the bank’s good culture and corporate image to the public.
• Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct, ensure subordinates adhere to the same, and manage disciplinary concerns.
• Cultivate a working environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and transparency among staff.
• Provide services as per the service level agreement and monitor subordinates to do the same.
• Handle other related generic activities as deemed necessary.

Specific Functions:

• Review the analysis of consumer trends, competitor positions, and market conditions.
• Review new product ideas to determine feasibility and potential market demand.
• Lead and coordinate studies on new product development and modification of existing products to meet customer expectations.
• Initiate and participate in workshops and briefings on new and modified products and services in collaboration with other work units.
• Conduct market and need assessment research to identify potential areas for the development of new financial products and revisiting existing products.
• Handle other related duties as required.

Skill and Educational Background:

• Educational Qualification: MA/MBA/BA in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, and Economics or any other related field.
• Experience: Seven/Nine (7/9) years of experience in relevant fields, preferably in banking, of which two (2) years should be in a senior officer position in relevant banking operations.
