Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal as we transition from Peachtree to a sophisticated new accounting software. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our company’s growth and success.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 0-2 years of relevant experience, including internships or practical coursework.
• Skills:
• Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Peachtree or similar accounting software is advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the migration of financial data from Peachtree to our new accounting software.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of accounting transactions and records.
• Collaborate closely with the finance team to maintain data integrity and streamline processes.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
