Wallet Microfinance Institution invites qualified and competent applicants for the following vacant positions:


Position 1: Human Resource Manager

Location: Addis Ababa

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, controls, and supervises the overall activities of the Department.
  • Ensure the efficiency of loan disbursement and timely collection of loans.
  • Advise management on financial policies of the Institution.
  • Participate in the preparation and consolidation of the financial budget of the Institution.
  • Ensure the closure of accounts and the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports.

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Education: MA/BA degree in Accounting and Finance, Management, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: A total of 10/12 years of experience, with at least two years in a similar position.

Technical and Other Skills:

  • Leadership and effective communication.
  • Promotes a team approach to enhance staff commitment.
  • Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, and ability to interact effectively with all employees.
  • Ability to adopt new accounting policies and practices.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of employees.
  • Basic computer skills, including Peachtree accounting, spreadsheet, and other accounting software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Position 2: Legal Advisor and Legal Officer

Location: Addis Ababa

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Education: LLB Degree in Law.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in the same position.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Governmental laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, governmental regulations, executive orders, and agency rules.
