People in Need, a non-governmental, non-profit organization, invites qualified and competent applicants for the following vacant posts. The organization has been operating in Ethiopia since 2003, focusing on projects in education, agriculture, climate and environment, water, and social protection.

1. Field Officer

Location: Gofa, Ethiopia

Contract Length: Definite until November 30, 2024

Salary: 19,130 ETB

Skill and Educational Background:

• Degree in Environmental Health, Project Management, Economics, Social Science, Development Studies, Humanitarian Studies, or related fields.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in the emergency sector with knowledge of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA), shelter & Shelter NFI, and WASH.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
• Strong networking, representation, coordination, and negotiation skills with government and other partners.

• Standard work schedule of 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
