Position: Senior Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Procurement and Property Management Department Manager, the Senior Procurement Specialist will plan, organize, coordinate, and control the procurement activities of AACCSA. The role ensures that the required support and services are provided to all offices, departments, and services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Manage supplier relations and maintain quality orientation.
• Write and communicate effectively in Amharic and English.
• Prioritize and organize tasks efficiently with attention to detail.

Job Requirements:

• Education:
• BA/MA degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Business Management, Marketing Management, or related field from a recognized higher learning institution.
• Experience:
• Six years of experience for BA holders and four years of experience for MA holders in similar positions.
• Technical and Other Skills:
• Knowledge of international and national procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Excellent writing skills in Amharic and English.
• Good communication skills.
• Priority setting and organizing skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Supplier relations management skills.
• Quality orientation.
• Loyalty.
