Awash Bank, Ethiopia’s pioneering private bank established on November 10, 1994, invites qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant positions:

1. Branch Manager – Class IV Branch

Skill and Educational Background:

• BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, and Economics.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant banking experience, of which 3 years in a supervisory position.

Job Summary:

• Plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office.
• Ensure adherence to operating procedures, rules, regulations, and code of practices of the bank.
• Lead branch sales and customer service initiatives.
• Guide branch operational excellence.
• Prepare and submit annual budget, operational plan, and activity and progress reports.

2. Cyber Security Analyst I

Skill and Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Information Security areas.

Job Summary:

• Detect and respond to security events and incidents within the Bank.
• Systematically examine an information system or product to determine the adequacy of security measures.
• Identify security deficiencies, provide data to predict the effectiveness of proposed security measures, and confirm the adequacy of such measures after implementation.

3. Legal Aid

Skill and Educational Background:

• Diploma in Law.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Legal Aid.

Job Summary:

• Represent the Bank before quasi-judicial tribunals and administrative bodies.
• Assist attorneys in the foreclosure process and conduct auctions.
• Follow up on the implementation of court decisions and orders.
• Follow up on criminal cases.
• Search for collateralized vehicles and attachable assets.
