Edomias International Plc, a leading Human Resource solutions provider in Ethiopia, invites qualified applicants for the position of Operations Officer at VFS Global Services Pvt. Ltd.

Position: Operations Officer

Location: Addis Ababa
Required No.: 20
Salary: 20,275.00 ETB

Purpose of the Role:
To manage end-to-end operations of the Visa Application Center (VAC), ensuring quality and cost-saving measures, compliance with set processes, and effective people management.

Responsibilities:

Scrutinize documents and collect applications for visa processing.
Handle customer/applicant queries via email or telephone.
Manage cash and bank-related transactions if assigned, ensuring 100% accuracy.
Record and maintain all application data, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
Manage the administration and logistics of passport delivery.
Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures.
Inform applicants about available added services and ensure their delivery.
Encourage applicants to provide feedback on services and overall experience.
Ensure the completion of processes within the mandated turnaround time.
Assist the deputy manager/operations manager in executing WB projects.
Promote the judicious use of natural resources.
Adhere to the organization’s environment, health, and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities and Performance Indicators:

Meet productivity targets as prescribed in the Team Objective Tracker.
Achieve customer satisfaction targets and address complaints efficiently.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry, minimizing errors.
Adhere to reporting schedules and maintain attendance.
Complete WB projects and attend scheduled training programs.
Maintain error logs and track performance using productivity grids.
Achieve targets for surveys and feedback.

Qualifications:

Education: BA Degree in any field, preferably Marketing or Economics from a reputable university with a GPA of 2.75 and above.
Experience: No experience required.
Skills:
Customer service experience.
Basic computer skills, including MS Office and good typing speed.
Adaptability and presence of mind to handle queries and complaints.
Ability to innovate and enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Language Requirements:

Fluency in English is mandatory.
Knowledge of an additional international language is advantageous.
