The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) invites qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant positions. ECMA is established by Capital Market Proclamation No. 1248/2021 as an autonomous Federal Regulatory Authority. The authority’s key objective is to ensure the existence of a capital market environment where securities can be issued and traded in an orderly, fair, and efficient manner. ECMA grants licenses and regulates trading in the primary and secondary markets of securities, ensuring compliance and overseeing market activities.

1. Finance Officer

Location: Addis Ababa

Skill and Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited or recognized learning institution.
• 2 years of relevant experience.

2. Senior Supervision Officer II

Location: Addis Ababa

Job Requirements:

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Economics, Management, Accounting and Finance, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited or recognized learning institution.

Work Experience:

• 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in overseeing regulatory compliance, conducting in-depth due diligence, risk assessments, leading audits and reviews, or undertaking investigations and enforcing rule violations in financial institutions or other related organizations.
