1. Van Sales Officer

• Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa

General Job Description:

• The Van Sales Officer will contribute to achieving the company’s goals by demonstrating entrepreneurial qualities and following the company’s sales policies and procedures. The role involves guiding and controlling daily sales activities, making regular market visits, ensuring proper market share and coverage, and supporting the sales team in maximizing their effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and monitor daily sales transactions to ensure compliance with sales policies.
• Prepare and implement monthly activity plans.
• Distribute tasks to the sales team and measure daily accomplishments.
• Conduct regular market visits to assess demand gaps and gather competitor information.
• Follow up on customer advance payments and collections.
• Ensure all sales activities are properly documented with invoices and bank deposit slips.
• Prepare weekly performance reports and maintain a customer database.
• Evaluate agents’ performance based on their targets.
• Support the sales team in using company assets and time effectively and efficiently.

Reporting:

• Reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Department:

• Sales & Marketing

Qualifications:

• Education: BA Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, or Business Management from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related business field.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills, teamwork capabilities, and knowledge of the current business environment.
