Position: Operation Coordinator

About SHRME:

The Society of Human Resource Management in Ethiopia (SHRME) is the first association of its kind focusing on upholding high industry standards in the Human Resource profession. SHRME aims to be the leading voice of HR issues nationwide by conducting research and development for the advancement of the Human Resources Management (HRM) profession. It also promotes better government policies and legislation on matters of improved HRM, creates and develops an established network with institutions, business organizations, societies, celebrities, and similar professions both domestically and internationally, and disseminates valuable HR information while providing training and other services to its members, customers, and organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily operations of SHRME to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
• Manage and organize events, training sessions, and workshops.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance organizational performance.
• Liaise with external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.
• Provide administrative support to the management team.
• Monitor and evaluate project progress and report findings to the management.

Qualifications:

• BA degree in Management with a specialization in Human Resource Management or Project Management is desired.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Prior experience working with similar local associations will be an asset.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
