About the SStSI Program:

The System Strengthening through Skills and Internship (SStSI) is an internship program for fresh graduates, designed and implemented by The Talent Firm and commissioned by Target Business Consultants. The program provides graduates with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, mentorship, and coaching while working alongside senior professionals in various Federal Ministries. The aim is to offer hands-on experience and develop a diverse pool of young talent for the Ethiopian civil service sector.

The SStSI Program will commence in October 2024 and will last for 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be an Ethiopian citizen.
• Demonstrated passion for public service.
• Fresh graduate from the years 2023/2015 E.C. or 2024/2016 E.C. from an accredited institution.
• Must have a CGPA of 3.0 or above.

Educational Background:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

• Management Information System, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Management, Economics, Leadership, Development Studies, Business Management, or related fields.
• Psychology, Special Needs, Educational Planning and Management (EdPM), or related fields.
• Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
• Hydraulics Engineering, Water Supply and Sanitation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.

Required Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication.
• Time management and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and creative thinking.
