Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) Off-Grid Project Office – Vacancy Announcement

The Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) is seeking to fill the following position as part of its efforts to provide off-grid electricity services in remote regions of Ethiopia and develop electric vehicle battery charging stations in partnership with Huawei Technology. The project is part of a larger World Bank-backed initiative aimed at electrifying up to 200 rural towns.

Position: Office Assistant

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: A University Degree in any field (Engineering fields are prioritized).
Experience: No prior experience required (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Skills:
Proficiency in computer usage for document preparation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A warm, approachable personality.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good organizational skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and organize filing documents.
Sort and distribute communications promptly.
Create and update records while ensuring accuracy and validity.
Schedule and plan meetings and appointments.
Monitor supplies and manage shortages.
Assist in the preparation of bid documents with the technical manager.

Salary:

Under the company scale, negotiable.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (Full-time)
Saturday mornings only.

Addisu Gebya NOC Fuel Station, Next to JAMBO Building, Addis Ababa
