Position: Clubs, Activities, and Programs Intern


Lebawi International Academy seeks a dynamic and proactive Clubs, Activities, and Programs Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will coordinate student-centered activities, support clubs, and foster student development, requiring creativity, organizational skills, and a passion for student leadership and development.

Location: Addis Ababa, Tor Hayiloch

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any social sciences or related fields.
  • Experience: Some experience in event planning, program coordination, or similar roles is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and English (spoken and written).
  • High ethical standards and ability to uphold school policies.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working in a school setting or with student organizations.
  • Knowledge of leadership and personal development theories.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Suite).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Event Planning and Management: Coordinate and oversee student-focused events, including logistics, budgeting, and on-site management.
  • Program Implementation: Support department programs to engage students and enhance their campus experience.
  • Club Support and Development: Act as the liaison for student clubs, assisting with activities, events, and administrative needs.
  • Student Talent Identification: Help identify and nurture student talents, offering opportunities for leadership and skill development.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of student participation for performance evaluation and store videos/photos of events.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Collect and analyze feedback to improve events and programs.
