Nib Insurance Company Vacancy Announcement


Nib Insurance Company invites qualified and competent applicants for the following vacant positions:


1. Branch Manager II

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Educational Background:
  • BA Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Experience:
  • 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year as Branch Manager I or in a similar position.
  • Job Grade: IX

2. Branch Manager III

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Educational Background:
  • BA Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Experience:
  • 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year as Branch Manager II or in a similar position.
  • Job Grade: X

3. Executive Secretary (Administrative Assistant)

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Educational Background:
  • BA Degree in Administrative Science or related fields, OR
  • Diploma (Level IV) with certificate of competency in Secretarial Science and Office Management, Administrative Office and Secretarial Technology, or related fields.
  • Experience:
  • 1 year of relevant experience for BA Degree holders, OR
  • 4 years of relevant experience for Diploma holders, with at least 2 years as Secretary II.
  • Job Grade: VII
  • Skills:
  • Ability to coordinate and direct activities effectively,
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

4. Executive Officer, Resources Management

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Educational Background:
  • BA Degree in Banking and Insurance, Management, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or related fields. ACII or LOMA certification preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial position in core insurance areas.
  • Job Grade: XIV
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the company’s finance, human, and material resources,
  • Supervising financial operations, maintaining books of accounts, and ensuring compliance with policies,
  • Overseeing human resources functions including recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws,
  • Providing general administrative services and submitting periodical reports.
