Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be international students of any nationality.
• Be enrolled in a college or university that awards a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
• Be an undergraduate student who has completed at least their first year of study by the internship start date.
• Plan to resume their undergraduate studies for at least one semester after the internship.
• Provide a letter from their university confirming that their education is conducted in English.

Additional Requirements:

• Live in UTokyo-provided accommodation.
• Participate fully in laboratory activities and respect lab protocols.
• Attend orientation and all required events.
• Present their work at the end of the program.
