Position: Finance Officer

Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, the Finance Officer will oversee financial processes, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with IMC standards. Responsibilities include recording and updating financial journals, handling payroll, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and verify cash payments at the field office
• Process daily financial transactions and prepare payment vouchers
• Record and post accounting transactions in the system
• Scan and maintain finance documents for audit compliance
• Conduct bank reconciliations as needed
• Manage workload to meet monthly financial reporting timelines
• Assist with year-end procedures and external audits
• Supervise cashier/finance assistant and coordinate daily finance paperwork
• Provide regular finance reports for monthly reporting

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Accounting
• Experience: At least 4 years in financial management and accounting
• Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Good command of the English language (writing and speaking)
• Strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines
