Position: Certification Officer

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related fields.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Purpose

To ensure sustainable and responsible processing and distribution of agricultural products in compliance with international codes of conduct.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate farming and agro-processing practices for compliance with standards on child labor, forced labor, human trafficking, discrimination, and workplace violence, including sexual and gender-based harassment.
• Set and enforce criteria for meeting international environmental and sustainability standards.
• Maintain a tracking system for suppliers and sales data to ensure compliance with standards.
• Supervise daily coffee processing activities.
• Organize and manage records required for third-party verifications.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Location: Werka, Uraga, Anfilo, Bonde
