Position: Agronomist

Job Purpose

To research, plan, and implement farm techniques that enhance planting, cultivation, and harvesting to improve crop yield.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop planting, cultivation, and harvesting techniques
• Create planting schedules, budgets, and timelines
• Conduct soil and crop analyses and develop nutrient management plans
• Recommend soil amendments to improve soil health
• Evaluate seed quality and address issues related to soil, climate, weather, and pest damage
• Perform quality control for seeds and soil standards
• Collect field samples and perform tests for deficiencies and diseases
• Document and present research findings to management and stakeholders

Job Requirements

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science, or related fields
• Experience: No prior experience required
