Ethio Life and General Insurance S.C. invites qualified applicants to join its team in the following positions. Ethio Life was the only specialized company in life insurance in Ethiopia until 2012. Since then, it has expanded to include general (non-life) insurance products, continuing its mission to provide innovative services in the Ethiopian insurance market.

Position 1: Senior Planning & Business Development Officer

Qualifications:

BA/BSc/LLB Degree in Management, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Law, or related fields from a recognized university.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in insurance, particularly in branch operations.

Additional Skills:

Strong knowledge of insurance business principles and risk assessment techniques.
Familiarity with planning, performance monitoring, and evaluation methods.
Proficiency in marketing principles and corporate policy development.
Financial acumen, including knowledge of accounting principles and generating financial reports.
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, with a team-oriented mindset.

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Senior Accountant

Qualifications:

BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related fields from a recognized university.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in insurance.

Additional Skills:

Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
Experience with risk assessment and financial reporting.
Ability to analyze financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with a dependable and team-oriented attitude.

Position 3: Senior Underwriting & Branch Operation Officer

Qualifications:

BA/BSc/LLB Degree in Management, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or related fields from a recognized university.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in insurance, particularly in branch operations.

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of insurance principles, risk assessment, and customer service.
Familiarity with planning, performance monitoring, and evaluation methods.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and financial policies.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills.
