7. Company Secretary
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings.
- Follow up on action points and handle correspondence before and after meetings.
- Convene and service annual general meetings, take minutes, draft resolutions, and lodge required forms.
- Ensure policies, regulatory, or statutory changes affecting the company are updated and approved.
- Develop systems to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, legal, and statutory requirements.
- Manage dividends and share option schemes for shareholders.
- Qualification: BA/MA in Law, Management, Public Administration, HRM, or related field of study.
- Experience: 9/7 years of relevant experience (depending on qualification).
- Additional: Experience as a Board Secretary is advantageous.
