Place of Work: Hawassa District Office

Job Summary:
The District Legal Attorney is responsible for:

• Providing legal opinions.
• Reviewing documents to assure their validity.
• Reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with forms and substance.
• Initiating legal actions and handling court cases in consultation with the Legal Department.

Job Requirements:

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Additional certifications in law, banking, finance, or similar fields are an added advantage.
• Knowledge of the local language is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Technical Competencies:

• Proficient in case management and litigation strategies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of litigation/dispute resolution and commercial law.
• Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods.
• Experience in drafting legal documents and contract management.
• Strong communication skills for complex legal issues.
