Job Summary
The Senior Finance Expert is responsible for advanced financial analysis, strategic financial planning, and decision support. The role includes financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and providing insights to senior management to ensure financial stability and growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with department heads and senior management.
- Develop financial models and forecasts, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial statements, profitability reports, and performance dashboards.
- Present financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations.
Cost Management:
- Analyze costs across departments and projects to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement cost management strategies to optimize expenses.
Financial Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and assess their potential impact.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to safeguard financial interests.
Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Coordinate with auditors, providing necessary documentation during audits.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with other departments to understand financial needs and provide necessary support.
- Foster strong internal relationships to facilitate effective communication.
