Addis Ababa, the capital city, has undergone major road infrastructure developments, including the construction of a ring road. To manage and oversee these projects, the Addis Ababa City Roads Authority was established under Proclamation No. 7/1990.
The Authority is responsible for:

✅ Providing quality and standardized roads and transport infrastructure
✅ Enhancing 20% road coverage in the city to improve traffic flow and mobility
