Position: Director, Financial Planning, Analysis and Modelling

Job Summary:

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive the Bank’s financial performance. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role interfaces closely with senior leadership, business units, and strategy teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement long-term strategic plans.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations based on market trends and performance metrics.
• Lead the bank’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Develop robust financial models for scenario planning, stress testing, and forecasting.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and insightful financial reports for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Basel III, IFRS, and local banking regulations.
• Optimize the bank’s balance sheet strategy and assist in capital allocation decisions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Certifications: CFA, CPA, ACCA preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling. Experience within the banking or financial services industry is preferable.
• Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, risk assessment, data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau), and advanced Excel modeling.
