1️⃣ Position: Accountant (Building & Road Projects)

Position Overview:

The Accountant is responsible for tracking, collecting, and correcting financial records at project sites. The role ensures financial accuracy, conducts audits, reconciles bank statements, and assists in financial decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

Qualification: BA Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Economics
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Accounting/Finance or Financial Management.
Preferred Experience:
- Working in a construction firm or with organizations managing complex construction projects.
- International experience or experience with international companies in Ethiopia is a plus.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting procedures in Ethiopia.
- Knowledge of local finance and accounting laws & regulations.
- Experience with financial software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel & Word).
- Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail & excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Position Overview:

The Procurement Engineer (Sourcing) is responsible for managing the company’s end-to-end sourcing operations, ensuring cost-efficient and timely procurement of construction materials and services. The role follows EEC’s Procurement Guidelines and Supplier Framework Manual to enhance sourcing activities.

Job Requirements:

Qualification: BSc Degree in:
- Civil Engineering
- Construction Management
- Or any related field
Experience: Minimum 3 years in procurement within the construction industry, specializing in sourcing.
Preferred Experience:
- Understanding of procurement workflows in the construction sector.
- Knowledge of industry markets & technical requirements.
- International experience or working with international firms is a plus.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
- Mandatory knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering software.
- Strong negotiation, risk evaluation, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
