Global Insurance Company (S.C.) (GIC) is a private insurance company established in March 1997 by 23 founding shareholders with an initial paid-up capital of Birr 3.75 million. Over the years, the company has grown to a paid-up capital of Birr 150.6 million and an authorized capital of Birr 250 million.

As of June 2020, GIC has 176 shareholders and total assets worth over Birr 413 million. The company operates 21 branches and one contact office across Addis Ababa and other regions of Ethiopia, providing general insurance services. Additionally, GIC offers modern vehicle inspection services at its Kality recovery yard (opposite Kality Sub-City Administration Office) and in Harar town.

Currently, GIC employs 224 staff members, significantly expanding from its initial team of fewer than 25 employees.

Available Positions:

🔹 Position 1: Junior Accountant

• Education: BA Degree in Accounting
• Experience: Not required (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Computer Skills: Mandatory
• Duty Station: Addis Ababa

🔹 Position 2: Main Cashier

• Education: Diploma in Accounting
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Computer Skills: Mandatory
• Duty Station: Addis Ababa
