Kadisco Paint and Adhesive Industry SC, previously known as Kadisco Chemical Industry Plc, is a privately owned company located in Addis Ababa, Akaki Kality Industrial Zone. The company traces its origins to a small automotive parts dealership in the late 1960s and later became the sole distributor for Sadoline Paints. Since 1979, Kadisco has grown into a diversified paint manufacturer.

In February 2015, Kadisco formed a joint venture with Asian Paints Ltd, India’s leading paint company and Asia’s second-largest. Today, Kadisco Asian Paints produces a full range of paints for the construction, industrial, and automotive sectors, along with wood and concrete lacquers and adhesives.

1. Billing Intern

Position Summary:

The Billing Intern will be responsible for taking sales orders from the Sales Team, Dealers, and Direct Customers, providing Proforma invoices, ensuring payment entries, and maintaining billing accuracy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take sales orders from the Sales Team, Dealers, and Direct Customers.
• Process orders in the SAP system and generate invoices.
• Provide Proforma invoices as needed.
• Ensure payment entries and maintain accuracy in billing.
• Interact with internal and external customers to maintain good relationships.
• Ensure accurate data/information for all stakeholders.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain high integrity.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of English (oral and written).

2. Marketing Representative

Position Summary:

The Marketing Representative will assist in identifying potential customers, supporting the sales team in lead generation, preparing sales materials, executing marketing campaigns, managing social media, and conducting market research.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Duties:

• Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential customers.
• Support the sales team in generating leads and following up with prospects.
• Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Maintain and update the customer database (CRM).
• Handle customer inquiries and provide product/service information.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets.

Marketing Duties:

• Assist in creating and executing marketing campaigns (digital and offline).
• Manage social media accounts and engage with followers.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support in organizing promotional events, trade shows, and campaigns.
• Create marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
• Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.
• Assist in managing the “Safe Painting Service” (SPS) & “Champion Contractor Initiative” (CCA) teams.
• Support brand/product initiatives for network partners, applicators, and end consumers.
• Provide marketing support for activation teams and monitor their performance.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management or a business-related field from a recognized university.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in marketing roles.
• Skills:
  • Brand and product management knowledge.
  • Strong communication and sales promotion skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and consumer research insights.
  • Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, and social media advertising is a plus.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager) is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a matrix structure and coordinate with central marketing teams.
