Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking qualified and competent professionals to join our team for the following positions:

1. EHOD – Technology & Support Functions Finance Business Partner (Internal/External)

📍 Duty Station: Addis Ababa
📅 Application Deadline: April 4, 2025

Role Purpose:

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Finance Officer and Technology Chief Officers for informed financial decision-making.
Drive efficient Capex and NOPEX decision-making to optimize network build and operations in a low ARPU market.
Provide key financial insights and performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders.
Partner with divisions to enhance capital investments, operational efficiency, and budget alignment.
Lead and develop the Technology & Support Functions Finance Business Partnering team to meet world-class finance benchmarks.

Qualifications & Experience:

✅ Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

✅ Experience:

At least 8 years of experience in telecom technology finance.
Minimum 12 years of broad experience in Management Accounting, Forecasting, Financial Accounting, and Finance Operations.

2. Regional Acquisition Manager

📍 Duty Station: Kombolcha
📅 Application Deadline: April 2, 2025

Role Purpose:

Report to the Regional Sales Manager and play a crucial role in expanding the customer base and increasing market share.
Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies targeting individual and SME customers.

Qualifications & Experience:

✅ Desired:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience in customer acquisition or sales roles.
Proficiency in sales tools for managing customer interactions.
Professional certification in Sales or Marketing (preferred).

✅ Financial Responsibility:

Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
Optimize acquisition budgets and participate in pricing strategies and negotiations.
