📝 Job Summary

The Assistant Planning & Analysis Officer will support the planning and analysis team in the preparation of financial plans, performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This position plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring optimal use of financial resources.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing financial plans and budgets
• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends
• Prepare regular planning and analysis reports
• Support revenue, expense, and financial forecasting activities
• Conduct market research on economic factors affecting the microfinance sector
• Collaborate with other departments to gather data for planning purposes
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external financial regulations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in planning and reporting

🎓 Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
• ACCA part qualified or halfway through the fundamental level is an added advantage

🧪 Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or senior auditing, preferably in the microfinance or banking sector

⭐ Required Skills and Competencies

• Financial planning and analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Team-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
