As part of its institutional capacity-building efforts, NEBE invites qualified applicants for the following positions:

🌟 1. Mechanic

Required Number: 1

Duty Station: NEBE Head Office, Addis Ababa

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: As per the organization scale (Competitive)

Reports to: Head of General Service Department

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintenance and repair of NEBE’s fleet to ensure their safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Tasks include inspections, diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, and record-keeping.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• BA in Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar setting.

Skills & Competencies:

• Technical skills in vehicle maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.

Reports to: Procurement Manager (Regional)

Job Summary:

Oversees procurement of goods and services at the regional level, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with procurement policies. Includes tendering, purchase orders, vendor evaluation, and cost analysis.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• BA/MA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
• 7 years for BA or 5 years for Master’s degree holders.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of procurement laws and supply chain practices.
• Strong negotiation, organization, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Must not be affiliated with any political party.

Job Summary:

Supports logistics operations such as transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and election material dispatch. Also handles documentation and supports vendor and team coordination.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• BA/MA in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related fields.
• 7 years for BA or 5 years for Master’s degree holders.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with logistics software and supply chain terms.
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
