📝 Job Summary

The Domestic/Local Procurement Officer is responsible for procuring goods in line with the organization’s quality, quantity, and type requirements. This role ensures procurement activities follow policy guidelines and are aligned with the company’s operational goals.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement domestic procurement plans and policies.
Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and internal policies.
Monitor requisition procedures and confirm procurement appropriateness.
Conduct market research to evaluate pricing and quality trends.
Review and validate supplier information and procurement specifications.
Collect and assess quotations in line with guidelines.
Handle post-purchase documentation and ensure treasury handovers.
Coordinate with the Finance Department on advance payments and documentation.
Support audit processes with complete procurement documentation.
Prepare periodic reports and resolve procurement-related challenges.
Execute additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

🎓 Qualifications and Experience

Education: Diploma (10+3) in Procurement and Supply Management, Accounting, or Management.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
