Job Summary

The General Service Officer will manage administrative and facility operations, ensuring seamless support services across departments. The role focuses on office and facility management, logistics coordination, documentation, and overall operational support for enhanced organizational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

General Office Management

  • Supervise day-to-day office activities and supply management
  • Coordinate mail handling and office maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health standards

Facility Management

  • Oversee physical office space and liaise with service providers for repairs and utilities
  • Ensure functioning of safety and security systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Logistics & Coordination

  • Organize logistics for meetings, events, and staff transportation
  • Manage vehicle fleet operations and travel arrangements for staff

Records & Documentation

  • Maintain inventory, supplies, and asset records
  • Organize files and assist in report preparation

Operations Support

  • Assist procurement and interdepartmental operations
  • Help resolve operational challenges and implement solutions

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: BA degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • Experience: 1–2 years in administrative, logistics, or facility management roles
  • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
