1. Assistant QC Manager

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about ensuring product quality and compliance within the dairy industry.

About the Job:

As an Assistant QC Manager, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining our high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing products to ensure quality.
  • Implementing and adhering to SOP & ISO standards.
  • Assisting in quality and performance improvement programs.
  • Ensuring products comply with quality and legal standards.
  • Aiding the Quality Manager in guiding and training production staff on quality measures.
  • Preparing, improving, and checking reports.
  • Managing staff schedules, coordinating weekly resets, and annual leave.
  • Helping manage production staff training requirements and assisting with training sessions.
  • Checking laboratory item inventory and replenishing as needed.
  • Scheduling meetings with staff.
  • Performing basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Reporting any FSMS-related problems to identified personnel.
  • Performing any other task assigned by the manager.

About You:

  • Education: BSc Degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: More than 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Good communication skills, energetic and passionate to learn more, committed to deadlines.

Required Skills: Decision-making skills, Microsoft Office Pack (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint), Leadership.


2. Junior Field Sales Representative

We’re looking for a commercially astute individual with excellent interpersonal skills to strengthen our brand visibility in the indirect channel.

About the Job:

You will be responsible for building strong relationships with agents, mini-distributors, and outlets. Your key tasks will include:

  • Taking targeted numbers of surveys from mini-distributors and their outlets weekly to map the value chain.
  • Strengthening Holland Dairy’s brand visibility in the indirect channel.
  • Developing a deeper understanding of the indirect channel using various tools at different outlets.
  • Building strong relationships with agents, mini-distributors, and their outlets.
  • Visiting frequently as per management direction.
  • Delivering set targets.
  • Complying with visit routine (10 steps of the visit) and dress code.
  • Always treating customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Executing surveys as per the target set.

About You:

  • Education: Minimum BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field from a recognized university.
  • Language: Speaking Somali is a must.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in sales and related fields, with experience in data collection.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written), aptitude for persuasion and negotiation, expert in time management, persuasive and goal-oriented, ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently, strong business sense and industry expertise, energetic and passionate to learn & lead.

Required Skills: Analytical skills, Persuasion, Communication.


3. Market Developer

If you have a knack for market research and sales, and enjoy building client relationships, this role is for you.

About the Job:

As a Market Developer, you will contribute to our growth through:

  • Market Research & Expansion: Identifying potential new markets, retailers, and distributors for Holland Dairy products. Conducting surveys and competitor analysis to understand market trends.
  • Sales & Business Development: Approaching local retailers, supermarkets, and food-service providers to promote Holland Dairy products. Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients. Achieving monthly sales targets as assigned.
  • Customer Engagement & Support: Providing product information, pricing, and promotional offers to customers. Addressing customer queries and ensuring satisfaction with product quality and service. Collecting feedback and reporting market demands to the sales team.

About You:

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

Required Skills: Analytical skills, Effective communication and sociability.
