Position: Sales Administration & Performance Analyst (Castel Winery)

About the Job

Position Purpose

The Sales Administration & Performance Analyst supports sales performance and revenue growth by monitoring distributor order processes and primary/secondary sales data. The role involves systematic data analysis, reporting, and close coordination with distributors, supply chain, and sales teams.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Monitor Distributor Sales Orders

  • Collect monthly order plans and compare with targets.
  • Validate pre-orders, confirm stock availability, and review payment proofs.
  • Create orders in DRINKIT system and follow up on delivery with Supply Chain.
  • Prepare monthly Truck Turnaround Time (TRT) reports.

2. Monitor Distributor Sell-In Performance

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of distributor purchases vs. targets.
  • Prepare monthly dashboards and SKU-level sales reports.
  • Validate outlet master data including Key Accounts.

3. Monitor Stock & Sell-Out

  • Collect and validate weekly distributor stock reports.
  • Update sell-out templates weekly and monthly.

4. Monitor CNET Secondary Sales

  • Provide technical support to distributors on CNET usage.
  • Track data accuracy and weekly performance.
  • Analyze CNET sales, POS invoices, SKU trends, top customers, and gaps.
  • Prepare Van Truck effectiveness dashboards and DSR reports.
  • Develop execution scorecards for Key Account Representatives.

5. Monitor Free Goods

  • Process free goods requests and ensure timely delivery.
  • Issue monthly free goods usage reports and flag misuse.

6. Sales Forecasting & Target Setting

  • Prepare budgets and monthly targets at SKU–Distributor–Channel levels.
  • Analyze historical trends for forecast accuracy.

7. Ad-hoc Analysis

  • Conduct RRP analysis.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness (pre/post promotion).

8. Sales Process Improvement

  • Identify workflow improvement opportunities.
  • Support implementation with cross-functional teams.

About You – Qualifications and Experience

Educational Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Management Information Systems
    • Statistics
    • IT
    • Accounting & Finance
    • Business Management
    • Marketing Management
    • Business Administration
    • Or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in sales operations, sales admin, customer service, or related activities.
  • Experience with CRM systems is an added advantage.
  • Field sales experience is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication in English & Amharic.
  • Problem-solving and proactivity.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
