The company aims to solve mobility challenges for gig workers in Ethiopia by providing brand-new electric two-wheelers, assembled locally in Addis Ababa. As part of our growing team, we are looking for a talented and creative Marketing Specialist to support our fast-paced operations and contribute to impactful marketing strategies.

Purpose of the Position

The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in executing effective marketing strategies to promote Dodai’s brand, products, and services. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and support overall business growth. The ideal candidate should demonstrate creativity, strategic thinking, and strong digital marketing skills.

Key Responsibilities

Implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business goals.
Develop and execute targeted campaigns across digital platforms, social media, email, content marketing, and events.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and customer insights.
Create engaging marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, website content, and sales collateral.
Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, PPC, social media ads).
Plan and coordinate product launches, events, trade shows, and conferences.
Track and analyze campaign performance; provide data-driven insights for improvement.
Collaborate with sales, product development, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging.
Maintain brand consistency and adherence to guidelines.
Stay updated with marketing trends, tools, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably in a fast-paced industry.

Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, email, content marketing).
Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with market research tools and methodologies.
High degree of initiative and ability to work independently.
