Ethiopian Engineering Corporation is looking for a qualified and experienced professional for the following position:

Position: Trainer (Projects)

Position Overview / Scope of Role

The Trainer (Projects) is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for skilled and semi-skilled labor across all project sites. The role focuses on improving productivity, identifying skill gaps, and strengthening workforce capability through effective training and coaching.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct training needs assessments and identify skill gaps across all project sites
Liaise with the Training Coordinator / Training & Capability Manager and HR teams to design and implement training programs
Design and develop training curricula and schedules for skilled and semi-skilled labor
Deliver trainings using appropriate methods such as:
- Face-to-face sessions
- Practical and simulated training
- Mentoring and on-the-job training
Prepare evaluation and assessment exams for trainees at the end of training sessions
Ensure trainings are conducted efficiently and cost-effectively, maximizing use of internal resources
Maintain updated training databases and records
Conduct site assessments across projects and share improvement recommendations

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related fields
More than 3 years of experience working as a Trainer
Additional Diploma in TVET Training is an added advantage
