🎯 Job Purpose

The MEAL Officer will lead and coordinate Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives, Theory of Change, and organizational strategies. The role focuses on strengthening data systems, program quality, reporting, and learning processes.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of MEAL frameworks and systems
• Ensure effective tracking of program progress, outcomes, and impacts
• Facilitate baseline, mid-term, and end-line evaluations
• Develop reporting systems for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Document best practices, lessons learned, and program insights
• Support digital data collection and program quality tools
• Conduct field monitoring visits and follow-ups
• Ensure gender-sensitive data collection and analysis
• Strengthen accountability and community participation mechanisms
• Support capacity building for staff and partners

🎓 Required Qualifications

• BA or MA Degree in:
  • Community Development
  • Sociology
  • Social Work
  • Anthropology
  • Gender Studies or related Social Science fields

---

💼 Work Experience

• MA Degree: Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• BA Degree: Minimum 5 years relevant experience

---

🧠 Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of MEAL frameworks and project cycle management
• Experience in participatory development approaches
• Good understanding of HRBA (Human Rights-Based Approach)
• Strong reporting, documentation, and analytical skills
• Team building and partnership management
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
