1. Senior Payment Card System Administrator

Vacancy Number: DB_EX/HO/052/26

Job Summary: You will be responsible for developing and providing technical support for in-house digital platforms related to payment cards. This includes interpreting business needs, identifying system malfunctions, and ensuring the health of card-related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• System Health: Monitor and follow up on card systems including Base24-eps, CMM, PRM, Perso Systems, and Interchanges.
• Operations: Execute daily end-of-day operations for networks and configure terminals on card channel platforms.
• Support: Diagnose and resolve systematic issues or malfunctions to support end-users.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills; proficiency in system maintenance and diagnosis.

2. Attorney, Shariah & Legal Research and Advisory

Vacancy Number: DB_EX/HO/053/26

Job Summary: This role supports the Interest-Free Banking (IFB) wing by conducting legal and Shariah research. You will review documents for Shariah compliance, provide legal advisory services, and prepare pleadings or petitions in accordance with national laws and SAC fatwas.

Key Responsibilities

• Research & Review: Conduct legal and Shariah research for new IFB products and services.
• Advisory: Provide legal opinions and recommendations to various work units within the Bank.
• Litigation Support: Prepare legal documents (pleadings, defenses) related to IFB window services.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Shariah Law, Islamic Finance, Economics, or an equivalent field.
• Experience: At least four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Added Advantages: Certifications in Interest-Free Banking, Law, or Finance.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial laws, NBE guidelines, and Shariah principles governing financial transactions.
