JSI Research & Training Institute (JSI) is dedicated to strengthening health and education systems to improve the lives of individuals, families, and communities. In Ethiopia, JSI has partnered with the Ministry of Health since 1994, implementing more than 65 projects across all regional health bureaus, reaching over 70 million people. JSI is currently seeking qualified applicants for the following position:

1. eLearning and Training Data Officer / Intern – MIHR-E Project

• Place of Work: Ethiopia (with travel to regional sites as required)
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Educational Technology, or related fields; preference given to applicants with health-related qualifications
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry and data management
  • Experience in training planning, coordination, and follow-up
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (Moodle) and eLearning courses
  • Experience with database management and data analysis
• Skills/Competencies:
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email)
  • Educational software and training data management
  • Data entry, record-keeping, and quality assurance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and travel to regions across Ethiopia
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage training data, registration, and enrolment for eLearning and blended learning programs
  • Support administration and maintenance of eLearning platforms
  • Track learner progress, attendance, and completion rates
  • Generate reports on training participation, performance, and outcomes
  • Support coordination of training events (virtual and in-person)
  • Maintain databases, dashboards, and ensure data quality and consistency
  • Assist in post-training follow-up, mentorship, and evaluation activities
  • Suggest improvements to data management processes for efficiency and accuracy
